This is the new cabinet. Tuh-duh! Hubby is building and painting the counter top. I'm so proud of him!
This is the old cabinet. The "lovely" avocado green counter top has to stay until next year. So....... we are working with it for the time being. The old cabinet is being painted to match the new. Unfortunately, I have to use oil-base paint because the original paint is oil-based. I know what you're thinking...."Just prime it first." Well, I tried that, and the latex paint peeled right off. So, alas, oil-based paint.
