Ah....The New Washer and Dryer

The new washer and dryer arrived today and I must say, I'm soooooo excited!  It would have been nice to grab a quick picture of me admiring my new machinery, but alas....I'm covered in paint from head to toe.  So instead, I had my adorable Bub help me out!  There isn't very much room to get a good picture, but you get the idea.

 

Also, I wanted to keep you posted on how the bathroom makeover is coming along.  Well, like many of my projects, it's making me a little crazy.  As I posted before, we were already in the middle of a kitchen re-do.  That, my friends, is on hold for the moment as I truly am up to my eyeballs in paint.  As you can see, I'm not too terribly neat.  This explains how it is possible for one individual to be both, Lucy and Ethyl! 

What you're not seeing in the picture above is the ugly mirror I took down.  What you are seeing (besides my mess) is one of the ugly, "swagged" lights that is still up.

My sweet, sweet Hubby is sooooooo much neater than me.  Thank goodness!  I don't think I could handle two of us. 

We discovered what a mess the walls are after removing the "lovely" wallpaper.  So..... Hubby is applying primer.  I managed to get the area where the washer and dryer were installed, primed and painted yesterday. 

I still can't figure out how they do it on HGTV.  You know, it's all neat, and they're done in 30 minutes.  Not me!  By the time I'm done priming and painting this tiny room it will be three days straight!  After that's done, we'll need to hang the new mirror, towel bars, etc.  I can hardly wait!
