Spring Tulips and Surprise Visit with Don and Nettie

To all of my Arizona friends; look at the beautiful red tulips I have growing in my back yard!

And, how about this sweet daffodil?

Or better yet, this precious, little white tulip that snuck in.

Spring truly is wonderful around here. But you know what made it even more special for us? We got a surprise visit from our dear friends from Nevada, Don and Nettie! I was already excited when Hubby said, "Nettie's on the phone." I love talking to my friends back home. Anyway, she asked me what I was doing and then proceeded to tell me they were here in town! I was soooooooo excited.

We met for coffee and had a great visit. I was sorry to learn that Don's sister has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. We'll keep her in our prayers.

Our visit was wonderful, just not long enough! I sure do love and miss you guys!
